The artwork displayed in the gallery have been created by Matt Durand. Durand has used “abstract expressionism” with his “neologisms” imbedded, to playfully tantalize his message within his art. Combining colors, shapes, fantastical and fanciful expressions with rhythmic connections to portray humor, curiosity, intrigue, and many combinations thereof.  His artwork takes a person on a journey into his imagination.

Durand has many debilitating challenges in his life and turns to his creativity as a way to deal with those circumstances. Matt’s art portfolio has topped 3000 artistic designs, an accumulation of more than 10 years of work. Currently living in Omaha, Nebraska, Matt Durand is a new face to the art scene and is dedicated to his creativity.
